This recipe uses the following spices:

BBQ Chipotle Beef Ribs


2 lbs. beef ribs

For Rub:
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. The Spice Hunter Chili Powder
1 tsp. salt
½ tsp. The Spice Hunter Tellicherry Peppercorn Fresh Twist Grinder

For Sauce:
1 bottle smoky bbq sauce
¼ cup orange marmalade
2 tsp. The Spice Hunter Chipotle Chile Pepper (or more if you like it hot)
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce


To prepare sauce, combine all sauce ingredients in a saucepan. Let mixture come to a boil and then reduce and allow to simmer for 10 minutes. Make sure marmalade is mixed in sauce well. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly. Preheat grill. In a small bowl combine all rub ingredients. Trim excess fat from beef ribs, cut into individual pieces, and coat well with rub. Place ribs on grill and allow to cook over medium-low heat for 1½ to 2 hours. Use half of the sauce to baste ribs every 15 minutes during cooktime. Serve remain sauce with the ribs and enjoy!
