Item #: 1120 1.9oz per Jar

This bold blend is inspired by Cajun Creole cuisine, a mosaic of French, African, Spanish and Caribbean influences that rose out of the Louisiana Bayou region. When it comes to seasoning, Creole and Cajun cooks agree that a dish should be flavorful, but not so spicy as to detract from the melding flavors of the ingredients. The Spice Hunter Cajun Creole Seasoning is a robust, smoky blend of red and black peppers, savory onion, pungent garlic, smoky paprika, bright and citrusy lemon peel, warm spices and more. The combination of 12 Creole seasoning ingredients imparts bold, authentic flavor, a mild kick and deep color to Cajun and Creole classics and more.

How to Use Cajun Creole Seasoning Blend

Use in jambalaya, gumbo and red beans and rice to nail essential Creole and Cajun flavor. Try in meat rubs, burgers and on seafood, chicken or fish. I have been using The Spice Hunter products for more than 20 years. When I was not able to find them in the local grocery or World Market, I began searching the Internet and have not missed a beat since you went on line. My favorite blends are the Pumpkin Pie and Cajun Creole Seasoning, and Gumbo File which are used weekly, if not daily. The vanilla flavoring is another product used weekly as I bake a lot. Just simply love the flavors and the absence of salt. Keep doing what you do.

I have been using Spice Hunter Creole for quite a few years and you know, I’m from Cajun country too! I have found that this blend is tastier than a lot of seasons we have here; since we have a family member on a reduce sodium diet, this is even better. Thanks, Spice Hunter!

I first found this spice in Utah of all places! When I moved back to Louisiana I was unable to find it in the stores. I was so disappointed and then my daughter found it online. I love this spice and I use it to make shrimp creole. My family loves it. Nothing better in our books.

This seasoning is fantastic. I sprinkle it on my homemade french fries and put it in my macaroni salad. Yum!

I never cook a burger without it. I also use it on eggs and chicken. Only Cajun blend I have found that is salt free.
