Cardamom seeds are dark brown to black—these are the spice! The pod is green. “Ground Cardamom” is green with brown and black among the green. So it appears that the ground cardamom includes the pod and the seeds.

I love this spice. It is amazing in almost anything and adds something extra to what you cook. I especially love using it in eggs. Yum!

This is my ALL time favorite. Green and black cardamom are a staple in our cooking at home. From savory to sweet dishes. But THIS specialty cardamom takes the cake. Please never discontinue this product. It’s a must in my daily cup of chai and all my Indian sweet dishes 5 stars ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
