This is my favorite spice blend. I love the Mexican Blend and the Fajita Blend too but there is something about this Jamaican Blend that is so homey and satisfying. I add it to soups, pasta dishes, even mashed sweet potatoes. Great on ribs, steaks and lamb too. Okay, I use it on everything!

Best spice blend ever! There’s a recipe from Eating Well, July/August 1998, for a jerk chicken and nectarine salad (see link below). It’s so easy, cheating a bit, using the spice blend, lime juice, steak sauce, honey, a bit of oil, for the marinade. Best chicken I’ve ever tasted, and the Spice Hunter jerk seasonings have the right amount of heat (zippy but not overwhelming). Such a simple, but incredibly good, recipe, perfect for a weeknight dinner where you don’t want to spend hours in the kitchen with a lengthy ingredients list.

You is one of my husband’s and my favorite spices! We rub this and olive oil onto our pork chops (plus plenty slices onions and peppers), and they all SIZZLE when added to a cast iron skillet that has been heating up in our broiler for 20 minutes. Two minutes each side then reduce heat to 500 and bake one minute each side. OHMYGOODNESS! Also a great spice for any vegetables that you want to roast; simply shake onto vegetables, spray with olive oil, then bake at 400 for 30 minutes. Great on butternut squash, onions, brussels sprouts, carrots, asparagus, etcetera. For Weight Watcher foodies, this is a zero-point DECLICIOUS side for any protein. I’m getting hungry; almost time to prepare dinner! 🙂

Glad I found this site. Your product is by far the best dry Jerk seasoning bar none. Used to get it at a local grocery store but its hard to find. I like to add it in addition to using a wet marinade on a cut up whole chicken. I season my vegetables with it then sear them and the chicken and put all in a covered cast iron chicken fryer and bake it in the oven for a bit. Also use it when grilling meat on the Weber.
