Blackberry Brandy Sauce
4 cups frozen blackberries
1 cup sugar
2 Tbsp. brandy
¼ tsp. The Spice Hunter Ground Madagascar Cloves
2 Tbsp. water
2 tsp. cornstarch
1. Cook blackberries, sugar, brandy and cloves in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.
2. In a small bowl, dissolve cornstarch in the water and then stir into simmering berries. Cook to desired consistency.
3. Serve over cake or ice cream or with whipped cream.
