Panna Cotta


1 Tbsp. unflavored gelatin
1/3 cup sugar
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup half and half
1½ tsp. The Spice Hunter Pure Vanilla Extract
Fruit or ice cream toppings for garnish


Preblend sugar and gelatin in a bowl, set aside. In a heavy saucepan, bring cream and half and half just to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Do not scald. Remove from heat; whisk in gelatin-sugar mixture and vanilla extract. Pour into ½ cup serving dishes, chill at least 4 hours, garnish, and serve.
