2 Tbsp. The Spice Hunter Whole Jamaican Allspice
¼ cup butter
½ cup light brown sugar
¼ cup heavy cream
2 Tbsp. white rum
1. Toast allspice in a saute pan over medium-low heat for 5 minutes. Add butter, sugar and cream. Cook for 3 minutes, stirring frequently.
2. Add rum and continue stirring for 2 additional minutes. Strain out and discard allspice.
3. Serve sauce over pound cake, fruit or ice cream.
