Sweet & Savory Balsamic Glaze


½ cup balsamic vinegar
½ cup honey
½ cup brown sugar
¼ cup soy sauce
2 tsp. The Spice Hunter Salt Free Garlic Pepper Blend
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 Tbsp. water


Combine vinegar, honey, brown sugar and soy sauce in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. In a small bowl, combine cornstarch and water, then add to saucepan, along with Garlic Pepper. Continue simmering for 5 minutes and then remove from heat. Use as a glaze for grilled meats, poultry, fish and vegetables.

    How long can this be kept in the refrigerator?

      After 2 days, the flavors and texture will start to change as the Garlic Pepper continues to infuse. We also recommend re-warming after removing from the fridge if the mixture becomes thick.
