2 cups brown sugar
2 cups white sugar
4 cups water
2 oz. instant coffee
1 quart vodka
½ The Spice Hunter Madagascar Vanilla Bean
Dissolve sugars in water and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add instant coffee. Cool. Add vanilla bean and vodka. Store for one month in air-tight jar before use. Delicious many ways: by itself as a liqueur, with cream, coffee, and/or brandy.
