Party Salad


1 small bunch broccoli
3 medium carrots
3 Tbsp. lemon juice
4 Tbsp. The Spice Hunter Crystallized Ginger
2 Tbsp. rice vinegar
½ cup Duke's Mayonnaise
1 cup raisins


Using the large opening in your food processor and shredding disk, place vegetables horizontally and shred. Or, shred vegetables by hand using long strokes. Toss with lemon juice. Blend crystallized ginger and vinegar in blender until smooth or minced ginger and add to vinegar. Toss vegetables, ginger mixture, mayonnaise and raisins together. Refrigerate until ready to serve. This recipe gathers flavor after sitting overnight. Recipe doubles well. A perfect party salad.
