This recipe uses the following spices:

Viennese Sauerkraut w/ Ribs


4 cups sauerkraut
3 cups wine
1 onion, minced
enough pork ribs for 4-6 people
1 carrot, sliced thin
2 apples, sliced thin
1 Tbsp. The Spice Hunter Junpier berries


Strain and rinse sauerkraut thoroughly. Drain, pressing out all the liquid. Cover with wine. Sauté onion, carrot and apples. When soft add sauerkraut, juniper berries and wine. Blend. Bury ribs in sauerkraut and bake at 350°F for 2 hours.
