This recipe uses the following spices:

Barley-Lentil Slow Cooker Soup


1 large onion, chopped
2 cups potatoes, cubed
1 cup celery, chopped
1 cup carrots, chopped
1 cup lentils, rinsed
1 cup pearl barley
6 cups water
1 (15oz.) can vegetable broth
2 (14.5oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
1 tsp. The Spice Hunter Garlic Pepper Blend
1 The Spice Hunter Mediterranean Bay Leaf
salt to taste


Combine all ingredients in slow cooker. Cover and cook on high 4 hours or low 8 hours. Slow cookers vary; cooking times are approximate.
