This recipe uses the following spices:

Classic Poppy Seed Salad


For dressing:
¼ cup sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. The Spice Hunter Yellow Mustard
¼ cup finely minced onion
1/3 cup cider vinegar
1 cup salad oil
1 Tbsp. The Spice Hunter Dutch Poppy Seeds

For salad:
1 bag pre-washed salad greens
1 small red onion, sliced thin
1 cup red grapes, halved
1 (11-15oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained
¼ cup slivered almonds


In a jar with a lid or in a small bowl, combine dressing ingredients; set aside. Place salad greens in large bowl. Arrange onion slices, grape halves, mandarin oranges and almonds on top of salad. Shake or stir dressing, then drizzle over salad or serve on the side. Store left over dressing in the refrigerator.
