This recipe uses the following spices:

Maple Bacon Brussel Sprouts


1 lb brussel sprouts
½ lb. bacon, chopped
½ tsp. The Spice Hunter Coarse Black Pepper
¼ tsp. The Spice Hunter California Garlic Salt
1 medium white or yellow onion, diced
2 Tbsp. olive oil
¼ cup maple syrup


Preheat oven to 400°F. Trim and quarter brussel sprouts, then toss with remaining ingredients in a large baking pan. Cook for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally until bacon is cooked and sprouts are slightly browned. Check often during the last 10-15 minutes to make sure the sprouts do not burn.
