This recipe uses the following spices:

Spicy Piña Colada Sorbet


1 cup lite coconut milk
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. The Spice Hunter Crushed Red Pepper
4 cups pineapple puree
¼ cup lime juice


Combine coconut milk and sugar in a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat, stir in red pepper and set aside to cool. Once cool, combine with pineapple puree and lime juice. Freeze mixture in ice cream maker according to the manufacturer’s directions.
