This recipe uses the following spices:

Pepper Nut Cookies

Ingredients:

¾ cup butter, softened
1 ¼ cups packed dark brown sugar
2 eggs
4 cups flour
½ tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. The Spice Hunter 100% Organic Ground Cinnamon
1 tsp. The Spice Hunter 100% Organic Ground Ginger
1 tsp. fine ground The Spice Hunter Salt Free Black & White Pepper Organic Grinder
¾ tsp. salt
¾ cup finely minced almonds

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 350°F. Cream together butter and sugar until thoroughly combined. Add eggs and beat until light and fluffy. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, spices, salt and almonds in a separate bowl. Slowly add flour mixture to butter mixture, stirring until fully blended. Roll dough into 1 inch balls and place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes until firm and slightly browned. If desired, cool for 5 minutes then toss with powdered sugar until coated. Store in a sealed container.
